TAF Moonlight Carnival, December 2015

Karachi, Pakistan, December 26, 2015 – The name ‘Aiyla’ means ‘Moonlight’ and she is certainly a ray of beacon and bliss for everyone in the Akram family as well as everyone who knows her. Her beautiful name was the root of a unique concept and gave birth to our “TAF Moonlight Carnival”. Wasim and Shaniera Akram wanted to celebrate their daughter’s first birthday with the several orphanages the foundation has been supporting for a few years now.

The Akram Foundation visits Sirat-ul-Jannah, December 2015

Karachi, Pakistan, December 03, 2015 – Together with our friends from Australia, The Akram Foundation (TAF) devised a unique day called “With Love from TAF” for the kids at the Sirat-ul-Jannah orphanage located in Karachi.

The Akram Foundation visits Anjuman Hayat-ul-Islam, October 2015

Karachi, Pakistan, October 03, 2015 – The Akram Foundation (TAF) had the privilege to spend a day at the honourable Anjuman Hayat-ul-Islam in Binnori Town. Team TAF had already planned a day-long activities for the children living in the hostel. Around 80 students live inside the premises of the orphanage and over 350 students study in the school inside the very establishment.

TAF Food Drive – September 2015

Karachi, Pakistan, September 02, 2015 – Under the visionary leadership of Shaniera Akram, Vice-President and CEO of ‘The Akram Foundaton’, Team TAF was able to design, execute and manage a massive food drive titled ‘TAF Food Drive’ that is a monthly cycle for the foundation.

Independence Day Celebrations, 2015

Counter Heat Drive – June 2015

Karachi, Pakistan, June 29, 2015 – In the third quarter of June 2015, Karachi, Pakistan’s biggest metropolis was hit by a deadly ‘Heat Wave’. This heat wave left the city in peril with hundreds of lives lost and more at stake. As always the residents of this city came together to help those who were struggling in the aftermath of this horror.
